Brit designer Craig Lawrence has been announced as focus of the V&A's Fashion in Motion event on July 20.

The day of catwalk shows in the Raphael Gallery will celebrate his collections to date, with one of his knitted foil dresses also on display in the museum's Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950 exhibition. Having launched his eponymous label with NEWGEN support upon graduating in 2009, Lawrence has become known for his knitwear work and use of materials such as sweet wrappers, gold foil and bin bags.
